Bid Automation for CPV?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a good bid automation tool for the CPV networks (MediaTraffic, Trafficvance, etc)?

If not, how do you handle this?

What are you trying to do? Make sure you're outbidding your competition? Adjust bids accordingly to your effective CPM? More details.

Both...

I outsourced people who are always adjusting bid prices against the competition to get the most traffic at the cheapest price (or if someone is ranked #1, but has a stupidly high bid, then they'll bid second position, etc.)

...then once we have enough data, they go through and continually adjust based on eCPM.

Are there tools to automate this?

Or to automate any part of the process?

Their reporting systems are so old and useless and they have no web services available. If there is a solution it's a pretty complex hack to do it.

Most of those CPV networks are all or nothing. 1st position = tons of traffic, any other postion just the dregs. I usually just 1st pos. the keyword and turn off what doesnt convert.
