Bitch slap rejection from Affiliate.com

I've applied to a good number of networks in the past and have always got in, no problem. Today I got my first rejection notice from Affiliate.com. They didn't bother calling. Instead they fired off a generic email with possible reasons for denial.

Now, here is the complete opposite of the spectrum. On exact same day I applied to MaxBounty. Amy called promptly, was super friendly and very welcoming. She told me about well performing offers immediately.

A part of me wants to call up Affiliate.com and try to get in. However, do I really want to beg to get into a network when there are so many others that are glad to work with me?

As every application is reviewed and taken into consideration, please understand there are several possible reasons for the denial of your application:

• Inconsistencies in application information
• Limited website traffic
• Limited campaigns for your marketing program
• Conflicting application information
• History of improper affiliate practices
• Business practices that are inconsistent with our Terms and Conditions
• Inability to reach you by phone (or email for International Applicants)
• Failure to reply to our phone (or email for International Applicants) correspondence with you, in the allotted 5-days

Appreciate the fact that you got some sort of response. I applied over a month ago and received nada, no canned message, absolutely no sort of communication whatsoever. No big deal, my business will continue to go elsewhere.

Affiliate.com isn't my favorite network or anything, but you shouldn't write them off just because they're selective. I wouldn't want to work with a network polluted with all sorts of fraudsters. If your business is on the up and up, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be happy to have you. Just ring their bell.

Sometimes these clowns will look at your website traffic levels in Alexa and if it isnt solid, they reject. Of course, theyre stupid enough to trust Alexa to begin with.

But why? You'd think the smart network would take as many honest hardworking people aboard even with minimal traffic, you gotta start somewhere. A million people generating $1 a day for them ain't so bad is it?

When you Google your website, anything bad come up? How about your name? lol. Sorry had to ask.

well i don't know much about Affiliate.com... But i can tell you that over the past year all Networks have seen a huge increase in fraud pubs doing everything in the world to get in.. these guys ruin it for everyone and the time it takes a network to review applications now is insane. I get IM's all day long from affiliates that we rejected most of the time they were rejected for a damn good reason but some times the good guys get mixed in with that - and for the most part the good guys don't IM, call, or email they just move on to another network. So from a network POV you can see where this is a big problem.. anyway i know this is a rant but just thought i would chime in. Now i have to get back to reviewing the apps

That's a stupid reason to be rejected, and if you are one of the networks who follow that DT blacklist then you are stupid also.

Float interactive did that to me because I revealed their scams, not a very reliable source.

^ i totally agree, people make mistakes, you should at least try to talk to them.

Affiliate.com has some decent offers you don't see elsewhere, and they ARE selective. Best inroute is probably to call early in the day before they're getting slammed and speak to a human before you ever apply. Get an AM's extension and call direct.

Call. Definitely Call. As MotiveBrendan said, fraud apps are up. Some good get mixed in with the bad. Having someone on the other end actually phone you is a welcome instance and helps verify your application.

I spend more than half of my day fielding calls from potentially fraudulent publishers trying to join our Network. Call them up and talk to someone directly. That should help you get approved.
