Hey Ive been writing a blog for the past week and a half or so and have started to get better ranking for my terms (in the 50s up from like 350) spending no money on marketing. I get visitors by uploading youtube music videos with ads for my site in the front, and plugging my site in yahoo answers. Hey its prob not the best, but at least its wicked easy and free. Anyways my blog has good content, a nice layout and actual informative information. So i feel like Ive done pretty well so far, after less than ten days Ive gotten consistently about 80-100 visitors a day and I expect it will continue to rise. Unfortunately however, Ive gotten very few clicks on adsense even though I feel like theyre really good ads. I have a small link unit on the side, a small horizontal banner imbeded in the header. I also have another horizontal banner that appears between the post and the comment section. My problem is that I'm really not getting any clicks. I think ive gotten one so far, and Ive only made $0.54. My question is: do people really only click ads when they get to the site and its just generated content, not like an actual blog? Is it possible that my content is too interesting and theyre really not looking at the rest of the page? Should I try to incorporate some monetyzing method into the posts? and how would i do that?
