Just got done watching and I gotta say, I'm pretty excited to see this new badass Walt. That scene with Saul Goodman was epic.

This is also the first time in the entire series that his cunt wife appears to be genuinely afraid of him.

What did you guys think?

Good shit. The old picture of Gus is going to lead to revealing all the shit of his past, and that will become the major player/issue against Walt.

I liked the the intro with Walt buying a .22 with a laser sight from the gun dealer. Glad to see Beneke still alive. Mike seems a little pissed.

Was that a 22? Seemed like something higher in calibur to me. I wouldn't really know though, I'm not a gun guy.

I LOL'd so hard when they showed Beneke.

It kinda seemed like they're turning Mike into the bitch of the group....which would really suck if it's true.

However...it was pretty awesome to see Walt get Mike to stfu just by saying "Because I say so..."

Just got myself the first two seasons of Breaking Bad. Heard so many good things about it.
I'm currently watching The Sopranos, I'm at season 5.

Love it. Just wait until Skyler goes over the edge, apeshit bonkers crazy.

Part of me thinks that she's going to be the one who ends up killing Walt or pulling the plug on him. She's just surrounded by bad men now and won't be able to handle it.

I am curious about the intro. Is that like the pool junk tease in season 2 from the plane crash? Walt was still alive at 52, but he didn't look so confident at Denny's. Isn't he supposed to be about 50 now?

Also, I keep hoping Jesse will pull out and redeem himself somehow. I was pretty sure that Walt would not make it out of the series alive, but with the intro - I'm not sure. It is hard to really cheer for the guy after he blew up all those old people.

Nah, she'll turn to the dark side. When she went to see the guy in the hospital she was crying and all apologetic until she realized he feared her. He feared for his life and she ran with it, turned all hard and cold.

She's been slowly turning to the dark side the whole series. I never thought she'd accept Walt as a drug dealer until she saw $750k in cash sitting in his closet and all of a sudden she's cooking books for him and operating his business fronts.

He didn't blow up all those old people, it was just that specific room with Gus.

But yeah, the intro scene will either be the beginning of the mid-season finale or the series finale.

In interviews they said that this intro scene is "the most revealing ever," so it's definitely going to play a major role in an important plot.

Also, Walt only killed Gus, Tyrus and Hector at the nursing home. No one else got hurt afaik.

My mistake. I actually only skimmed the season 4 finale on Netflix because I didn't have time to watch the whole thing on Sunday. Yeah, I was a cheapskate and had visions of watching the entire season on Sunday when it was released - but my family had other plans for me.

OK, if Walt didn't kill a whole bunch of old folks, I may give him a pass. He did poison the kid, but I guess he probably knew the dose would not kill him.
