I am looking at buying domains in the range of 50 to 150 at a time w/ priv whois, once every 3 or 4 months. What's the recommended way to do this to save a little green per domain?

I know there are threads talking abut best registrar for domain purchasing, which is a big piece of the question that I am asking - however, also wanted to find out what's the tangible benefit for a .com over a .info or other cheapers domains so I could do cost analysis.

Dynadot.com would be a great place for you to save money. If you spend at least $5k a year you get Super Bulk Pricing at $7.50 .com's $5.75 .net's $2.99 .info's

Then if you spend $500/year you get these prices

And let me say these guys have never let me down. They had a little downtime recently from a severe crash however, I believe they learned from their mistake and wont happen again hopefully. Their system is very fast and prefunding your account allows you to buy domains with 2 clicks and your done.
They also have an API for users with bulk pricing so you can write a script to get your domains even faster all at once.
