I'd also suggest you take a look at microsoft tags. Similar concept to QR codes but you can manage the values arent hard coded to the image, they are managed through a web interface and can be changed at anytime. This makes it perfect for updating your contact information.
Have one on the back of my card. They were flying out of my hand at ASE10.
No reason not to. Makes it that much easier for the person you're giving it to to get your info into their system without having to type it.

Unless you have a normal QR reader, do you *really* want everyone to have your BBM info?

In my old cell ( Nokia e72) There's a business card reader, Snap the card's pic from the camera and it will organize the details mentioned on card.
I was thinking the same thing when I found myself all excited about high speed internet on the plane.
