The reason why I said ring tone here is I believe ring tone was the hottest product for affiliates before. Now a lot of people promoting the ring tone products I think all most all of the techniques and all ideas has been used for this niche. And also there is a lot of people promoting it so the competition is very high. Do you think still, the new affiliates can make profit from it? Not only ring tone, there are other such very popular and competitive niches like music download.

Thanks

I'm on a budget and I'm doing alright. Not making incredible amnts or anything but any profit sounds good to me!

If you can make profit from ringtones I think you'll have a much easier time making profit elsewhere. One thing I also noticed with ringtones is since it is so competitive there is a lot to look at and get ideas from.

So it has it's benefits and disadvantages I think.

YES YOU CAN. My first campaign a few months ago was a ringtone offer. Not very much volume for me, but I did about $50 a day profit. Note, I was new to AM so is not that bad.

...I think all most all of the techniques and all ideas has been used for this niche...

That's false for any niche.

Or at least that's the mindset you need to have. Find a way to promote tones in a way nobody else has.

50/day on your first campaign? very nice. did you do anything unique?
yes it was a unique design and not very crowded offer if thats what you mean?

since then, I moved on to new offers and paused that campaign.

but can you make money with ringtones? YES
is it easy? NO
if you are a newbie, would I recommend starting with ringtones? NO

you are better off if you work on some offers that are not as competitive and with more rooms for profits

i tried a couple of time, i started good but i ended up loosing money.
but i honestly didn't put enough effort in it otherwise i know i could have broken even at least.

It's not a terribly hard niche to penetrate but EPCs are dropping because of the more stringent regulations in place nowadays. I can imagine that it will only get tighter, so if you're in for the long run, ringtones would not be the first place you'd wanna be.
