Can you spot the content?

I never click on Answers, eHow or WikiHow in the SERPs. All garbage sites if you ask me. Wonder why Google hasn't slapped them yet.

Thinking the same thing. Those sites are 110% worthless. Yet they dominate.

How many of those companies do Demand Media own? Just asking, ya know.

fuck, i hate Demand Media. Livestrong is outranking a bunch of my health sites/pages. Those fuckers will copy/paste shit from your sites and not even give you credit... or if they do, it's NOFOLLOW. bastards!

Also, check out some of the Ask.com pages that rank in Google. Same type of bullshit.

... and Google even allows Ask.com to have Adwords link straight to search results pages where 80% of the landing page has ads on top of their SERPs. (good luck determining what is an ad or organic search result)

The double-standard with Google is unreal. Big brands vs the little guy. Could you imagine what would happen to a site like this if a small publisher tried the same thing?

I hate ALL of those sites. With a passion.

Fuck them, and fuck Google for actually considering these shitty content farms rank-able.

Answers.com can choke on a bag of prolapsed rectums. I'd rather embrace ignorance than play "Where's Waldo" with a sentence of shit content.

It's like, FUCK. I just wanted to know if those little white bumps self-propagating over the surface of my scrotum are actually curable - NOT spend an eternity in hell wading through a swamp of ad-shit. Fuck, if I wanted to click on fucking ads, I'd google "stream online movies for free 2012," click the first link in the SERPS, and fucking slide my ass over my keyboard until I've completed 25 Content Locking Rape-Gateway fuck shit offers and wait 4 weeks until my free $1,000 McDonalds gift card arrives in the mail so I can fucking drown my sorrows in 50lb of McSadness.

FUCK.

About.com > all of them.

A different perspective.

Not everyone plays by the same rules.

Not debating whether this is "fair" or "just".

But it "is". This is reality.

Now that you know that some people have more flexibility than others, can get away with things others cannot, what's the rational choice on your part?

To rail against Google like some nerd-Don Quixote, or to join the ranks of the privileged?

In a world with a level playing field, most of us, most certainly me, would be serving someone french fries or shining shoes.

No thanks.

YMMV.

lol no...

and on a side note, there is this similar seacoast. tld polluting the pharma / drug related search too.

Look at the shear number of auto-generated pages indexed

^^^ This

I used to write tons and tons of articles for eHow years ago. I pray none of you ever use any of the dozens of "how to remove the gas tank for a [insert year/make/model here]" that I wrote...LOL

It was pretty easy money though back in the day.
