I've been looking for quite some time but can't find any ringtone offers catering to canadian carriers such as Telus Mobility, Bell Mobility, Rogers, Fido etc..

I know azoogle was supposed to get one back in Jan, but the deal fell through... if somebody knows a canadian ringtone offer on one of the networks let me know and I'll sign up under you.

I've been looking for canadian ringtone offers for a while, I'd be interested in hearing about any you find.

Thanks,
Tob

i live in canada, was doing some research last week and i entered my number in fly cell landing page and it accepted it! i was also sent a text message like 5 minutes later, i got side tracked and forgot about it...now i cant find the damn page and i deleted my text messages because they were full.

i didnt sign-up so i have no other information.

I only know of one Canadian offer for "ringtones" but it doesnt actually give a ringtone it gives a joke or horoscope subscriptions instead. And it doesnt payout huge.

I would be surprised if Fly Cell is able to bill a Canadian cell phone

What offer is that? and on what network?

Funmobile

Mike is right, funmobile works for Canadian carriers, but as it stands right now - they do not use SMS billing but instead credit card. This will obviously hurt conversions.

Last I checked, here's what they said about getting SMS billing...

"We made an agreement with M-Qube (sms gateway) and right now we are in process of installing sms billing on one of our sites. We will have to test it afterwards and then we will make it available for affiliates as well. The sad thing is that we were notified by M-Qube that Canadian carriers do not allow this kind of model. So only US for now"

I think it's because in Canada we are influenced heavily by the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) which is responsible for regulating our broadcasting and telecommunications systems. They claim to protect the rights of the Canadian consumer, but in reality we get f*cked by them all the time.
