Two days ago I could log in to this site just fine and now all I get is a blank white page when I go to mysite.com/wp-admin. If I use mysite.com/wp-login.php I get the username and password fields, but then it takes me to a white page after I click login. I've tried re-installing a fresh version of WP. Deleted any plugins that I thought might be an issue. Checked my database which shows no problems. I can't think of what else to try at this point. I basically am locked out of my own blog. Any ideas what to try. This is definitely a first for me.

Oh, by the way, the site loads just fine and all of the content & pages do as well. It's just logging in that has the issue.

This is a pretty common issue following major upgrades. Try disabling *all* of your plugins, then logging in and enabling them one-by-one. To disable all of them, rename your plugin directory and create a new empty plugin directory. Move your plugins from the old to the new one at a time until you find the one that breaks things.

In rare cases you can have a problem with WP installations or upgrades.

First things first, I would backup everything.

Secondly, is it a push button WP install or are you doing it manually?

If it's not the installation or plugins, consider a bug in a post, page, or widget.

And if all else fails, contact your hosting's tech support.

Best of luck.
