Such a mythical figure.. I am curious as to what the smart people at WF know or think about him.

I have read many books about him covering both sides of the legend. I have even been to where his remains are.

TO me a bit of both is probably right.

just did some research on him because i was curious, and im not sure which way to go with it. hmmm. it was an interesting read though.

Didn't he intentionally kill civilians?

It's more like this:

- Are you joining the La revolucion, eses??
- But I have 3 kids, who's gonna work for putting food on the table?
- La Revolucion es Muy Importante! You are either with us, or against us. There's no middle way, cabron! Matarle...

True story, for serious!

well, it wasn't as simple as that.

and remember he died fighting in a foreign country... so even though he was naive, violent and delusional he died doing what he believed in.

so did Timothy McVeigh. That is not the criteria that I would choose to determine whether someone was great or not.

Che definately changed the world and had a huge impact. How you think about him is pretty much determined by your politics. (that is unless you are a college guy looking to get laid by naive college girls enrolled in womans studies courses.)

exactly. that is why I see so many south americans in love with him but dont know ANYTHING about the facts and history.

If he is against the US then I am with him..... same mentality that gave Chavez the power he has now.

I dont think Che killed women and children though

Is this a serious question? Che Guevara was a mass murderer who killed people without trials, killed people for being gay, banned rock music, etc... He was your average nutty Marxist - most college kids who wear him are retards who have no idea of what he did. Would anyone wear a picture of Hitler on their shirt? How about Stalin? Mao? They're all cut from the same cloth - the only difference is Che's propaganda campaign worked.
