CNN - Pro wrestler Chris Benoit canceled a pay-per-view appearance in Houston because of "personal reasons" a day before he, his wife and their 7-year-old son were found dead in their suburban Atlanta home. Details of the deaths "are going to prove a little bizarre," Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told a local paper.

i heard this on the news this morning. too bad, he was getting to be an oldie.
 
Yea, that had a 3 hour tribute to him on RAW. Can't wait to find out what happened. They say there was no gun involved in any of the murders. I'm guessing he hung himself or something.
 
damn thats sad. i wonder if it could have been connected to roid rage (seriously).
 
Funny how we all think of roid rage, but the fact that he was getting old in the game and no longer really a superstar (as compaired to ten years ago) may have contributed as well.

Kinda odd how every time a WWE star dies it is always strange circumstances surrounding their death.

That is crazy. I don't know how you could kill your child or anyone at all. I guess your mind starts to go after being in the ring for I think it was 22 years I read.

"Extended suicides" - especially among males - are not that uncommon.

I was just saying that wrestlers don't go down without making headlines, be it from drug induced heart attacks, falling from rafters, or now double murder suicides...
 
I'm saying it is crazy b/c he just never came off as a murderer, thats all. Well most people don't come off as murderers, but he just seemed normal. We only see what is on TV, though, so anything can happen I guess.

Only in America. People are way fucked up here. I'm not surpised by news like this anymore. Every so often you hear about guys killing their pregnant wives and girlfriends, or mothers selling their kids to feed their meth and/or crack habits.

If I were to ever become a politician my one issue that I'd love to have work would be to take all of the people who try and cheat the government out of money, the criminals, and the drug addicts who have had chance after chance to make good but never do be put onto the front lines in a war that America is in. But instead of just giving them a weapon, I'd have them be unarmed and make them walk through mine fields so we can figure out where they are buried. If they don't die, well, they will have at least served for a good human purpose because they all seem to have a death wish, and you may as well use it to the advantage of our society and other nations instead of wasting tax payer dollars sitting in a jail cell or causing harm to others.
