Years ago, the first cheque took about a month or 2 longer than usual to be sent.
Once the first one was sent, it was regular like clockwork for all following cheques. Around the 15th the payment is deducted from your balance, and the cheque mailed on/around the 20th. The payment is the balance up till the last day of the previous month. (eg. a payment sent today is for June. It doesn't include any transactions from July)
Remember, if you only passed your payment limit this month, you'll have to wait till next months payment dates.
