The Battle Royale!!!

Background: Me and needthatscrilla have both off us just recently started our own journals and taking action to build business. I started tor read a bit In Scrilla's thread and was inspired off the title $10K before Christmas. So I come to think about my old saying everything is just so much more interesting if you compete and there is chance of winning.

I got Scrilla on IM and suggested it and we thought the Idea was solid. We didnt really know how to measure it our success in though so we decided to let WF in and have there say on it.

The Competition:

So Wicked Fire we need your help to decide on two things:


  1. How do we measure our success, earnings?
  2. What shall be the prize?


And yes there is a Lot of Pride in Swede Crushing The US ;)

I like this idea a lot, but you fuckers better keep this thread updated constantly :)

as for prizes, I'll throw in a free link building package to the victor because I think this could be a good thread.

as for the nature of the contest, here's what I think you should do:

Pick the same offer (or set of offers) to promote, something from clickback or any network you two are both a part of. Maybe consult with other members here privately on a good offer to both push. That way, you two are competing to promote the same thing, and presumably competing head to head on the same serps. By using an offer instead of adsense, you can most likely drive in more income in a shorter period of time. The competition should be something like "who can bring in the most conversions in 3 months".

Also, you need to decide if all work will be by hand or if you will allow paid services (I don't think you should allow services, because then bankroll comes into play, but it's up for discussion)>

Finally, I realize this is an SEO competition, but there are many ways to garner traffic. Don't forget Facebook Pages/Groups, stumbleupon, twitter, etc. Get creative.
