Click Loss on Mobile Campaigns

I'm seeing some pretty big click discrepancies in mobile campaigns I've been running, in some cases 1/3 to 1/2 of my traffic is being lost before it hits the offer page. Prosper is reporting basically all of the clicks, but vastly fewer are reported in the network tracking.

Is this something other people are experiencing? Are people just misclicking or getting lost in the redirect process or is there something else going on here?

Try not using t202, it will make it easier for the networks to jack your traffic sources.

dont use prosper or cpvlab on mobile campaigns, just direct link from network to traffic source, if you use anything in the middle you are going to see a huge click loss. the norm in mobile is about 5% click loss.

that always happens. if you're only getting 50% that's good, i've seen 80%+ on some offers. usually happens because phone internet is slow as fuck so when a page takes more than 1 second to load people just back out. a lot of clicks are also "fake" clicks in that people are being clumsy and accidentally clicking ads when they meant to click on the button right next to the ad, so as soon as the browser pops up they back out

Dupe IP issue is the main reason.

Most phones go through proxies and don't have their own IP addresses.

So the click isn't always counted but sales will be.

The network deems some clicks as fruad because of the duplicate IP. When devices use wifi, multiple devices use the same IP. Could also be the fraud filters the networks have on arent specific for mobile traffic.

As far as load times go, mobile devices only support a limited number of redirects. traffic source + prosper or cpvlab + network + advertiser tracking + LP = fail. direct link and cut as many middle men as you can.

good luck
