So let's hear it... Anyone else a college football fan? I was watching from 9am until 9pm last night, ha ha... With a break in between to grill up some carne asada.

Stoked to see the PAC10 showing so well yesterday - USC vs. CAL Nov 10 will be a helluva game - although USC looked pretty weak last night vs. Idaho. I'm hoping they were just playing around and Caroll has a whole bag of secrets in his playbook.

Oh, and my only college with a football team, SJSU, looked pretty sad. :(
 


I resided in Nebraska for about 4 years, So I witnessed first hand, Lincoln is one of the hardest places to play as a visitor. Nebraska has arguably the most hardcore fan base in all of american sports as they own the NCAA football record for consecutive sellouts that dates back to 1962. On gameday it is a sea of red, Nebraska playing at home will be a big factor.
Not to mention, they have a pretty solid team with Sam Keller at QB and Marlon Lucky at RB (who turned down USC a few years ago).
It will be a nailbiter of a game, that's for sure.
 
lol yeah, I was there at the michigan vs appalachian game... I have never seen so many depressed people in one place before. The appalachian team/fans were so ridiculously ecstatic.

embarrassing would be an understatement.

I would think Appalachian State could beat 50% of div 1 teams, though they should not be beating any top 25 team, let alone #5.
 
loyola - what was going in Lincoln? I was born and raised there (for about 15 years).

Appy State should NEVER have beat Michigan - but good for them - and waaaaah for Michigan. They do it to themselves every year .. . .
 
Dammit I was really pissed that we couldn't watch the Michigan game out here. It was like the ONLY game that my buddy didn't get (he paid the $110 for the college football package from the cable company / ESPN).

I hate the games sports teams play with blackouts and forcing certain games to certain networks, etc. Never works out for the fans.

And seriously guys, c'mon... Nebraska is FUCT in 2 weeks. Absolutely screwed ;)
 
i wanna see footage of that michigan game. I also want to see the footage for the texas game...

I actually spent my High School years in Omaha ( 1996-2000) I went To Benson ( the Benson Fucking Bunnies LOL)

I have an uncle who actually grew up in Lincoln and went to Lincoln Northeast. In fact, it was a big deal to both of us when Benson was playing Northeast in the state title basketball game in 1998.

Oh, I just wanted to add, a former HS teammate, classmate (in studyhall) and Lincoln native, Kenton Keith Made the Colts as the 2nd string RB for The Indianapolis Colts, he will back up Joseph Addai. I had to pick him up in the last rd of the wickedfire fantasy league Im in.
