Combine a crapload of RSS feeds into 1?

End of the rainbow
So I used to monitor a bunch of RSS feeds by setting them all up in Google Reader under a single category. Reader would then provide me with a single, custom RSS URL that I could plug into my external app and monitor 100s of feeds with that single custom feed URL.

I know there are a handful of Google Reader replacements, but unless I'm missing something none seem to do this. Anyone know of an easy way to get this type of functionality back?

FYI I ended up buying Fever for $30 and installing it on one of my servers. Totally cool little app and well worth $30. Got sick of spending hours trying to find something that would do exactly what I need and eventually stumbled across this little bad boy. Now I have a sweet little web app running on one of my own servers, and I can just retrieve titles/URLs etc. directly from my own database.

Fever° Red hot. Well read. 10/10 would buy again

Solid. I was using feedly previously but don't want to rely on a service I don't control.

Of course just a few days after setting up and integrating Fever, Feedly has just opened up their API to everyone so I'm gonna switch everything over to that. Murphy's Law I guess!

Pipes is cool but I don't see how to easily manage 100s of feeds with it ...
