Lenovo Thinkpad, less than 2 months old
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
4GB DDR3 RAM
Malware Bytes
Advanced System Care
Norton Premier(sucks)

No idea wtf is going on here, but when I log into my username on Windows, in less than 3 minutes, the computer completely freezes up. The clock doesn't even change. I have tried running a full virus scan and Malware Bytes scan but neither pick up on anything.

The computer works perfectly fine in safe mode AND on the guest account, but when I try to log on to my account, it freezes up. I try rebooting and same thing. I've already tried system restore and same problem.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Disable the programs that you have running on start up. If that works, enable them one at a time until the behavior returns.

That was my next step. How can I change which programs launch on start up without being logged into that account?

Go into safe mode, when logged in, click start, type msconfig into the run/search box, or whatever it is MS now call it, go to startup tab, and click on the button that says, buy a Mac.
