Here is the deal. A lot of people approach me everyday and ask me about how they should go around their content orders, and to be honest, it can be a royal pain in the ass to keep on explaining myself over and over again. In order to deal with the monotony of FAQ’s that people ask me repeatedly, I’d like to list down what points buyers and sellers should keep in mind.
If You Are A Buyer
• Look at that narrow bar just below the sellers profile badge. If it’s bright orange, he is well reputed. Being reputed does not mean he is a good writer. It just means that he posted up something contributive to the board and we like it. If the bar is pale red, screw him and move over to find another writer.
• Look at the post count. Most writers here just don’t contribute to the forum. Make sure that they have a good decent post count. This way you can guarantee yourself that the seller is good and he would not jeopardize his reputation here at WF to fuck with his clients. This way you can ensure that your content is delivered as per your expectations thereby reducing the risk of anyone wanting to fuck with you.
• Look at those iTrades. Don’t bank on any service provider that has 2 -3 iTraders. It’s rather easy to get 2 – 3 of them by doing literally nothing. Go with someone who has a good amount of trading points so that you will not have to kick yourself at a later stage.
• Look at the sellers thread. Strategic content developers prefer to have one thread proffering details about their service. Read that thread well and see how reviews have panned out. Don’t just trust any review you read. Make sure that the review submitted is done by someone who is well reputed on the board.
• Don’t be boisterous. Most of the best content developers here want to make sure you get quality stuff. This may not be the case everytime. You need to give writers time and patience. Not everything can be uphill 24/7. This does not mean that you also just sit down and don’t do a fuck about it.
• Do not bargain like a whore.
• Give proper details in your orders. Half hazard orders are a pain in the ass and it can make you feel crappy at the end of the day. Make sure you have everything you need listed out well.
• Get all your information sorted out before you place an order. Do not make last minute changes.
• Look at your own reputation. If you are new to the board or if you got dickrolled for your carelessness, get ready to make some sacrifices. Do not expect good writers to take on your order without any advance payments.
• Try rotating your orders with different service providers. Do not give one guy the same topics again and again. Something is sure to go wrong somewhere.
• Make payments as you see fit. Ideally, it should be 50% Advance and the rest upon delivery. However, you need to also understand that the best writers on the board are jam packed and that they need full advance payments to take up your work.
• Don’t overreact to content you are not happy with. Give the writer time to rectify it. You are entitled to any changes you need.
• Contribute your review to the sellers thread so that newbies can get a better idea about the service provided.
If you are a Seller
• Don’t open multiple threads. Stick to one. It has better potential.
• Do not spam members of the board requesting them to order from you. That is not only gay but it’s a good reason to get banned.
• Do not spam other service provider threads with your shit. Make sure whatever you do is only within your thread and perhaps within your signature. Do not cross the line.
• Get your content approved. Hand out review copies if you are starting out. If you have not read the rules, GTFO.
• Make sure you never cheat anyone. Karma is bitch.
• Never ask for advance payments if you are new or just starting out. Prove yourself and show that you are noteworthy of being here.
• WF is not for amateurs. So, if you think you can spin that shit you do at DP, I’d recommend that you piss on yourself.
• Price yourself accordingly. If you are a native English speaker, you know what to do. If you are something else, think well about your tariff sheet.
• Make sure that you state whatever you are offering well into your OP of your sales thread. The last thing buyers need is one of those ‘conditions apply’ scenarios.
• Get your grammar right. Don’t fuck up just because you think you can. Learn and keep learning. No harm in mastering your profession.
• Don’t get scared. Yes we know, WF is a place where you can get fucked without you even knowing it. But if you are scared, it’s better that you are not here.
• Don’t say yes to everything that a client needs. Read his requirements and only if you think you can handle it, then get it done. The last thing any buyer needs is to get fucked from a fuck who thinks he can fuck with them.
• Be open to abusive criticism. It will improve you.
• Make sure that you are ready to make changes to the content you develop as per the client’s requirements. Buyers are willing to pay what they feel is right so make sure that you can cater to their needs.
• Don’t take all the bullshit you get from any buyer. If he is not happy, state your argument and then move on. Think about who you are dealing with and then make a decision.
• Be ready to make refunds. Business needs to be able to suffer sometimes. Grow up and success will come to you.
• Do not go for long vacations without informing your clients.
• Do not go off the radar. You may think that there is no way to track you down. Fact is, this forum is filled with people that have all the best resources in the world to find out where you are. Be honest and make an honest day’s dollar.
