Hello

I'm getting into content writing for some easy cash, after a few months I might even make a content site with hired writers etc to try and make some good money, but in the mean time..

Is there much money to be had here? I can get $1/100 words but do some people offer more?

Thanks

People are going to offer you as little as possible, you can charge more, you may price yourself out of the bottom most tier of the market but if your writing is good you'll still have plenty of buyers once you build some rep.

What your content is worth is all based around the quality of your work. $1/100 words seems a typical rate, but you can get more. A member on here charges $2/100 but has very positive reviews, which is why it looks like he gets a lot of work.

It is definitely all about your quality. If you are a native speaking english writer that uses proper grammar and tense than you should be ok.

pm me, I'm always looking for a good writer.

I would like to see a sample or two.

When I was looking at getting into it I offered up some free samples of work. It got me good reviews, but I haven't had the time to get into it. There's plenty of people out there looking for writers though.

You can certainly earn money, but don't go into it thinking it's gonna be easy cash. It's probably not a bad idea to qualify your clientele; some of this can be done by pricing a bit higher and watch for people trying to lowball you or extort you for free review copies. You may get a few bucks out of it if you deal with them, but they are just gonna take what you sold them and resell it to people willing to pay what you should have been charging in the first place.

Try to pick up a few regulars you like to work with; it may take some time to build good working relationships, but the experience is better in the long run.

Thanks, at the end of the day it can be fun and definitely rewarding when you receive your first payment!

I've done a couple of jobs now and signed up for a content website with low payout, but you work your way up to higher payouts.

Hopefully I can become a better writer in the future :)
