The sad part is, they both taught themselves how to program at a time when people weren't thinking that way. Jobs wouldn't be where he is today if Bill didn't have any marketing savvy. Bill's parents bought him a dedicated line over Compuserve's Telenet access which at the time cost a great deal of money. That's where he learned to program.

People can make all the jokes they want about their operating systems, but at the end of the day those two are really just in it for the money and happened to have been in the right place at the right time to be able to shape the world on a massive scale and profit from the marketing and controlling the way that vendors can operate due to their marketshare control.

Yes, it's really sad that people in the right place at the right time took advantage and made a lot of money. I'm sure everyone on this forum especially will agree.

Either one of those guys has more marketing knowledge stored in his sigmoid colon than most affiliate marketers will ever have. They may be cheesedick as all Hell but they also beez some smart mofos.

heh those are great. Now wickedfire needs to take it one step further.

Get your shop on.

There are so many contradictory ideas and disjointed statements in there I can't tell what you are actually trying to get at.

Regardless of whether somebody is an apple fanboy, ms fanboy, or entrepreneur most people are in awe of Jobs and Gates, and rightfully so. But you can still clown on them (and get pissed off when they do monumentally arrogant things like Jobs does.)

Would you rather be Gates or Hefner?
All the money in the world or all the bitches in the world..hmmm

Silly question. All the money in the world = all the bitches in the world, but all the bitches in the world != all the money in the world.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. In his prime Gates was balls deep in his business and probably had little time for women. Being balls deep in women was Hefner's business.
