Hey everyone,

I have decided to offer my expertise for free to WF members for the next week or two. I am offering my Conversion Optimization service for those that are interested, for free.

Basically, I'll spend 30 to 60 minutes with you on an IM client of your choice and you will give me 1-5 landing pages, websites, or shopping carts and I will go through the sales funnel with you and afterwards give you a detailed plan full of action items on how to increase your conversions.

I am doing this simply to build my reputation. I am building some kick-ass White Hat SEO tools and want to build my reputation in hopes that it'll help me gain some credibility on WF and to help the community as a whole since it has given me a lot in return already.

What makes me qualified? I have studied CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) from some of the best in the business like Tim Ash and others. I go to high-end White Hat conferences and I have the fortune of sitting through these seminars and learn from some key individuals in the conversion field. Beyond that, I read a lot of books and websites and the most important element is that for my day job I am an SEO Director and I manage 50 clients Digital Marketing efforts.

Some of the clients I manage spend 10 to 15k / mo on SEO/PPC/Usability and that is what I do all day. I achieve significant results for them and I will for you too.

I am only offering this service to people who are serious. Do NOT waste my time and I will not waste yours.

Right now I will accept up to 5 users and you can submit up to 5 landing pages/sites/processes for a total of 25. If it fills up fast, we can start adding people to a queue and go from there.

Really, no catch. Just looking to build my rep and help some people along the way.

To date, every client I have ever worked with has seen at least a 10% increase in conversions, that is on the low end, some are as high as 754%.

Just post here that you're interested and provide your AIM/Yahoo/Skype/MSN to me and we will get started. All I ask for is an honest review and that's it. You have NOTHING to lose.

You must be a respected member of WF or I am not interested and your pages/sites must have traffic, no newbies. Looking to achieve real results.

I talked with him a few times recently and he definitely had some good advice which I implemented in my recent designcourse.com redesign, and it helped conversions for sure.

The fact he's offering this for free alone shows he's confident in his abilities, and wants to build some reputation before charging. Definitely give it a go. :)
 
David pinged me on AIM and I decided to let him have it on a CPS site I just rolled out about 2 weeks ago. While the traffic is low right now, I plan on increasing that # rapidly here in the coming weeks.

Look forward to hearing what he has to say about it and report back here with the results for this particular site.

I am curious for a few reasons. First the offer sounds interesting, always good to have a seasoned set of outside eyes walk through a site with you.

Secondly I am wondering why if you are managing clients who are spending 10K+ per month you are offering free consulting on a marketing forum.

One of two things come to mind as to why you would be doing this but you have piqued my interest. If the last spot is available shoot me a PM with your Skype name and a good time for us to connect.

Sorry for the late responses, got snowed in over the weekend in a typical Wisconsin Blizzard, just got back into the swing of things after some nasty stomache virus.

To answer your question, I do this because although I manage 10k/mo clients, I do not get paid well for doing it, I manage them for the company I work for and I am wanting to go solo and launch some of my own products and do consulting. To do that, I need rep on here and I thought if I could help some of the known names increase conversions or generate results, that'll help me when the time comes to launch my own products/services.

I've completed everyones report except for one, no idea why they haven't posted reviews yet, I'll start bugging them :)

Some of the comments I received were things like:

Review:
David's service is actually quite good for anyone looking to get a second site of eyes on their site. He noticed some things I never even thought of. He knows what hes talking about.. when he wrote out the report and I read it, I realized I agreed with almost all of his points. He made sense and asked the right questions.

I'd definitely use him again, on some of my bigger sites.
 
My Review:

I gave David a site that wasn't getting much traffic but wanted to see what his opinion was on it. He looked it over and compiled a nice detailed report for it. Like HIghper said, he highlights things that you don't think of that could easily boost your cvr.

I would definitely use David's services again for other sites.
 
Got my report from David a few days ago, just been a bit busy. David delivered the report very quickly. I was a bit concerned that the quality would be compromised based on how quickly the report was completed, but I was wrong. David delivered a comprehensive analysis of my client site's sales funnel.

I wanted to test this service to see if I could package this analysis/report and sell it to my clients. I have to say that the report, while very knowledgeable and insightful, used a bit harsher language than I expected. It didn't hurt my feelings or anything, but David definitely tells it like it is (he even warned me beforehand). I partially blame myself for not mentioning to David that this report would be presented to someone else, and I'm sure he would use more subtle wording when doing a report for one of my clients if I told him who it was for. You might get your feelings/ego hurt, so hopefully you are ready for some constructive criticism!

That being said, David brought up some very good points about the website and sales process. Some of his points I had actually thought about in the past, so it was good to see that David was definitely thinking on the same page.

As others have said, if you need an extra set of eyes on your site/landing page/sales process, you'd be foolish not to give David's service a try, especially for those of you who are new to IM.
