hey guys,

I just need a bit of clarification.

Does "converted clicks" in spyview mean actual sales, or just clickthroughs to the merchant landing page.

I am showing LOTS of converted clicks in spyview, but only a few as converted at Neverblue/EWA.

Any insight on what this means please? I am using Stats202, not sub IDs for conversion updates.

Thanks very much. I also posted this on prospers board.

Converted sales should be whatever you set it up to be. It could be a sale, or simply a lead collected from an opt-in page.

I've never used the auto update from Stats202 but I assume it's just as reliable as global pixels.

Under the visitors tab, prosper is showing the correct number of actual sales. Not sure whats up. Basically it looks like Spyview is counting every clickthrough to the offer page as a conversion.

Sounds like a pixel problem (firing maybe every click).

Normally a conversion is a lead generated.....however in some instances when you place a pixel with an advertiser, it won't fire at the network (dropped leads) However if there's a large difference , something else is going on.

hmmm means you may have uploaded your csv, and named the wrong fields, and that made them all converts... but if you have pixels set up, def talk to your AM and see if those converts are real. If your seeing them on both networks not showing up, then you def have an issue in however your handling the conversions, if its pixel, or uploading csv.

a converted click is when they click through, if you wanna see if you got a sale the green real click icon will turn into a dollar sign.

Hey guys... thanks for the tips. I'm not uploading sub IDs though, I'm using stats 202 to auto update.

Cheezile, in Spyview, every one of the clicks Im talking about have a dollar sign. Under the visitor tab, however, only the ones that were actually converted on my networks are there with the dollar sign.

Read the post guys, he's not updating with subids.

Converted click has always been a lead/sale for me, but I can't help you any more than telling you that.

Go into your Neverblue account and change it from pixels to pingback - it's much more reliable.

If you want to get even more 'micro-management' with it, you can edit the php pingback script in P202 to send you a text message every time you score a conversion. Then get yourself a ringtone that goes 'Cha-Ching' on every text received from that address - it's frickin golden.

edit: Just noticed you were using the Stats202 module so maybe something in there is misfiring.

Cool guys thanks again.... how about this, what I think I'm gonna do tonight is I'm going to run it without prosper, no type of tracking really. I know that's stupid in a way but it's more a test to see if conversions just start popping up at NB or not, or if the campaign just is a failure.

I know usually it's just the campaign, but I thought that was a huge discrepancy.

I've had a situation before where when I took prosper off, my conversions jumped about 10%, but I think the sample size was too small to come to a solid conclusion. Plus that would make me the only guy that has happened to, which I doubt.
