Anyone else noticed the little pop-up when you log into COPEAC about their new "Global Pop" advertising?

From what I understand, it basically makes a related campaign pop up when someone clicks to one of your offers. Thus creating another opportunity for a sale/lead. It launches April 1st, and of course can be easily turned off.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I can see it going either way.. it could be distracting or annoying to users and reduce conversions, or it could potentially bring in some extra conversions. We'll have to wait and see.

No one likes pop unders so I dont think this is really the best idea

Nobody that knows what they are doing on a computer likes pop unders. People that I would call "average internet users" don't know what a pop under is or where they come from. I don't want to think of how many times I have had retarded family friends call about stupid "you have a virus" pop unders and crap like that.

Have you seen what cpaempire does once a lead is placed? Basically, You sell a mobile dating offer. after they finish the sale they'd redirect you to a ringtone offer or a zip submit. Now if you're running targeted traffic from a mailing list this spam/popunder prevents the user from coming back and making a sale they just pass you off as spam like the other 10,000 people out there.

just ask your am and they turn it off

wouldnt this cause problems with google, because they dont allow popups?
it would be cool if you could pick which offers to use it on

yeah i dont use it... i always lose money w/ those pop-ups

it ends up distracting them from what they came ot my site for

the cpaempire pop-up after, would be a great feature
