I have a very large project that's going to requite quite an extensive site, i'd say similar to aweber.com or something. Not traffic-wise, but function wise.
Needs
-Frontend with signup/login, 'steps' the user goes through, ability to save their progress and come back later
-Backend is going to be the extensive part.
-Needs a full on CMS that keeps track of all orders but in a custom way
-ability to have multiple users working on a client at any given time, clocking their time
-full integration with the form the user fills out so that when someone submits part of it, it shows up partially on the backend with all their information and what % complete they are
-integrated ticket system where if i send an email to that person from within the CMS, and they reply, it will come right to their profile so I can view it and respond from there instead of email
ideally even further it should have
-ability to create a custom website for this person based on specifications they choose (it will ask them questions about this in the signup process)
-the website will be template based but i would love it if the backend can upload this to their site automatically/configure it once i change nameservers over, put in host information and press a button
What do you think this would reasonably cost to get it done quality, i wouldnt say quite 'ebay' quality, but definitely not shoddy or skimpy in any areas.
I was thinking perhaps around 10k. Although Ive never outsourced anything this large before. what are your thoughts
