Could this blog turn profitable?

Sweet. Thanks a lot Harvey. I changed the slogan and got a shitload of links over the last two days. Probably going to get like 400 more links and then write posts on that stuff and put up some affiliate offers.

Forests are for hiking and camping.
Tons of hiking and camping affiliates out there. Articles on the best hiking shoes for your forest walk, on the best mountain bikes for zooming through the forest. Articles on the best tents under $200, articles on the best GPS under $500. Articles on how to plan a hiking or camping trip and links to Amazon items that you recommend in each category. Articles on fire safety and links to firestarter devices on Amazon. Linkbait on the 10 most dangerous animals in forests with affiliate links to devices that will help you drive them away.

All sorts of things you can put on a site about forests and nature. Just off the top of my head while I watch inmates cleaning their housing unit.

I always have my best moments of clarity

Either in the shower or while I should be working.

I was brainstorming like a mofo that night. Ideas just popping. Was nice.

Definite rep for jdomaha! Good stuff, yeah I'm thinking whether to focus on hiking/biking or health/eco-friendly/nature.

I'm really in a dilemma guys. I did a shitload of dofollow blog links with the keywords "Health and Nature blog" and thought that was what I was going to focus on Tofu and Gardening and green/vegan/ecofreak and organics and acai berries and health food and stuff.

But on the other hand I think my site would be more targeted for hiking, biking, camping and I also think that the domain fits that better aka "Forest Central". It's like there's two side I can go to but I feel like I'm drifting more to this one.

Now that there are these two main ways I can structure my content and follow keywords, which one do you think would be better and why?

Also be sure to check out my new logo :)

I completely agree. But, lol, it isn't very hard to adjust the ads if you didn't already know that. What I'm saying is I've got a great domain, a decent logo, decent writing skills, enough development knowledge, and thanks to this great community, I've now got two different directions I can go in.

I personally like the hiker/forest biking/camping direction the best because I think it goes with my domain best and the conversions would be better along with I would be more interested writing that content and therefore I will probably go in that direction.

On the other hand, I would just like a little more output from you guys as to why I am either right in the direction I want to go in, or possibly why you think I could be wrong. In fact, you don't even have write a long reason but I would appreciate if you would either say "health/nature" or "camping/hiking". Thanks!

Whatever your visitors are looking for when they come to your site is the direction you should go.

then do that...

if you're going long term, it'll be better for you to write about something you like and feel more comfortable with than to force yourself to write garbage in an attempt to make a few bucks... plus, writing about something you're interested in will help prevent burnout...

Okay thanks a lot. I just needed some reassurance. Most of the people in this thread have been very useful so I thank you. Anyways this threads over...

You should go check out my list of amazing available domain names in the affiliate marketing sub-forum. It's awesome!
