Damn! That second or third to last one was nuts!
The jet is going down, they stick to it and try to recover and come what looks like INCHES from the ground, try to save it, the right engine won't fire and they can't thrust away from the earth hard enough so THEN they bail!
That's balls. I would have been out of that thing the second it started going sideways.

Amazing pilot skills at 3:40. how he decides to point the nose down at mere seconds of crashing, stabilize the aircraft and pull up. Crazy shit
How does the ejection thingie work? Looked almost like a mini rocket/propulsion burn took place that moved them quickly out of the way? That was incredible!
The seats practically have rocket fuel or compressed air beneath them that pushes them out. Most of the times the force is so strong, over 15+ Gs, that they end up with broken legs, hands and stuff just because of ejecting and getting in contact with the air (at their flying speed). Saves their asses though.

yea, if u watch top gun or behind enemy lines .. they show it pretty good

If the pilot ejects, does the other person eject too or do they have to eject themselves? It looks like they didn't go at the same time but you wouldn't want to do that would you?
