Crazy situation on FB, need help

A few weeks ago I launched a campaign on facebook. It was a biz op, and I know they don't approve rebills, especially biz op, but I was able to get it on.

In the first few days it was absolutely killing it. I started the campaign on Tuesday, and by Thursday I was making over 100% ROI. When Friday came around, the performance was on the same track, getting about the same # of conversions in the morning. When afternoon came around, the conversions completely stopped coming in, but I was still getting roughly the same number of clicks.

I know traffic is slower on the weekends but I found it weird that they stopped coming in completely. This continued through Saturday and Sunday. I was optimistic that it was just a weekend thing and that on Monday everything would be back to normal, but still on Monday, 0 conversions.

I paused the campaign and talked to my AM describing what happened, and he told me something definitely wasn't right, so he contacted the advertiser to run a test to see what the problem was. It turned out that on that Friday, there was a problem with the site that caused it to go down for a lil bit, but when it came back, it was tracking fine. I was told the offer was tracking fine for everyone else that was running it except me, so they couldn't find a real problem.

My question is, is it normal for Facebook traffic to just completely go to garbage like that, or is there possibly something missing? Has anybody else had a similar situation? And what can I do to make up for my losses even though there is no hard evidence that the offer wasn't tracking?

Depending on how targeted your campaign is, it could crap out in a day if you're target market is REALLY small. The more targeted, the quicker it will stop working.

why would you ask about ur biz opp campaign and explicitly say ur running it on facebook? try your best to not be a stupid person

Omgawd, I gave out too much info on my campaign, ill try not to be SO detailed next time. :/

Thanks for the input everyone, seems like I should switch out the offer. Although it wasn't targeted to such a small group (200k), it seems like it may have died off.

I find more and more you gotta manage your shit so much that when you average hours in and $$ out you make as much as a Bangladesh kid recycling trip wires from unexploded land mines

Translation = "...the advertiser was really beginning to question your lead quality, so they decided to pause your conversions altogether until they decide how much they will drop your payout or drop you completely..."

try rotating a few similar offers in your tracking202; its possible they are putting you on pause to judge your lead quality

This.

Lol
advertiser and cpa network both are sharing your conversions.

Definitely thought about that, but what would be the benefit to them if I stopped the campaign when I realized it stopped converting? Doesn't seem worth stealing a whole campaign for a few of my conversions..

Yeah swap offer and maybe try to refine your targeting. i always found it a pain to target bizops on facebook. i mean a lot of people obviously want to make money so you can pull of an acceptable ctr. I just haven't figured out what to target for an amazing ctr.

lol you aimed 200k people and you expect it to run forever?
2 weeks is the maximum for this amount...even less...
you get many impressions same people see your offer again and again.
if their intrested in your offer they will click it, but still stay in the rotation.
if not intrested, most of the chances they will never click it,but they keep seeing it.
and thats how the ctr/conversions are dying.
