Creating Wordpress Themes....

I checked out two "how to" sites on creating a custom worpress theme and they really only mentioned html + css experience required.

I am a WYSIWYG designer, but if I could apply this to jazz up some wp sites, well I might have much more business potential.

But this seems too good to be true...

So is HTML + CSS all I need for wp themes???

I don't know shit about php or js. (besides copy and paste :updown

Wordpress is simply a collection of php pages and a styling page, i.e. style.css.

And of course the various image pics you use.

You probably want to learn php on a fairly comprehensive level in order to understand how they translate into a Wordpress platform.
