Ok I've been at this whole affiliate marketing shit since feb.

Before like idk a few weeks ago the only forum I ever got on was the warrior forum which after being here like an hour I learned more shit than I ever did for the entire two years I was their.

Fuck the warrior forum

Background:

So far I'm averaging 2-3 sales every payperiod in clickbank
(yes I still use clickbank im a newb) hell I didn't even know about neverblueads copeac and all the other aff networks until I came here.

After reading this forum for 2 weekish I've basically come up with the needed steps to reach my desired income goal, but I still don't know how to do these steps per-say.

Anyway from reading this forum I came up with this plan...

Goal : Create a $10,000 passive monthy income stream with aff marketing

Step one: Find a niche with lots of traffic and money that can be monetized easily.

Step 2: find good affiliate offers like cpa, cpm, adsense etc... that will go with the niche I chose.

Step 3: Keyword research niche and develop kw list in niche you want to target. (I'm ok with kw research but any good post about it would be great)

Step 4: Develop website with unique content add XML sitemap when finished submit to SE's add different seo plugins etc

(Some good wordpress plugins would be great!)

Step 5: Get as many back links as I can. Use this site

hxxp://www.mikes-marketing-tools.com/ranking-reports/

to figure out how many more back-links I need to get to the first results of google for the kw I'm targeting.

After I am getting 100 unique a day consistently. Restart the process until I have my desired income level.

Question Time!

What do you think about this plan? My goal is that my sites earn roughly $100 usd a month. Is this reasonable?

Do you know any good post about How to find good niches, or if you know how please post

Do you know any good posts about kw research?

Do you know any good posts about creating websites and seo?

Do you know how to get backlinks / deep linking ( I have no idea what deep linking is lol) and more seo lol

My last question is will this type of website carry its self so I can set and forget it, or will I need to constantly add new content to keep good ratings in the serps?

* I am going right now to the search function to look all this shit up. This thread was more to get my ideas down so I have a plan about what I need to know, and to help other newbs to get some kind of plan together. I will find all this info on my own but I would appreciate any posts or feedback about this*

I'll keep yall updated with how this shit goes down.

"passive monthy income stream" = FAIL
Why does this = FAIL

Are you saying that these websites will not create passive income, meaning that I will need to continue adding unique content? NP word press plugin buy 50 articles in niche from indian guy set auto post/auto ping now my content is updated.

I'm really trying to learn all this shit. So instead of just telling me it will fail please tell me WHY you think it will fail.

There's a reason i posted this in the newb section lol

So you are from Warrior Forum.

Well, good for you that you found this here.

The thing about the plan is, it is OK... BUT

All Affiliate marketing plans are easy, it is the doing that counts.

::emp::

I admire your optimism - you've got a long hard, ass-breaking time ahead of you. This business will either make you or break you, or perhaps both - you seem to know roughly what needs to be done to get to your $10,000 but there's a hell of a lot of failures you'll need to go through.

I'd add 2 more steps:

- Step 6: Read my ass off - every thing on affiliate marketing I can
- Step 7: Get some kind of income other than AM - like a job
- Step 8: Fail miserably, keep failing, and fail some more - all the time learning from your mistakes until you eventually don't fail as much and start making some money

edit: that's 3 steps, I got carried away

Step 6: Read my ass off - every thing on affiliate marketing I can

What are some really good affiliate marketing blogs.

So far I have Jon's blog

blue hat seo

nikkycakes

Any other good blogs you know? Especially ppc reletated?

- Step 7: Get some kind of income other than AM - like a job

haha im actually submitting resumes right now lol

As for your "plan", don't get your hopes up that it's as cookie-cutter as you seem to think it is. You'll have sites where it's very easy to build up to $100/month and a lot more, but you'll also have sites that will barely pay for hosting no matter what you try.

And scaling everything up to a hundred sites or more isn't as easy many people think, you'll need to be organized and will definitely have to outsource some tasks or you'll be overwhelmed.

Don't get your hopes up that it's going to be passive income either, especially of you are going to be utilizing PPC to any extent. Building a more passive income takes time as you need to rely heavily on a steady stream of organic traffic which doesn't happen overnight and takes work.

Anyone that says it's "passive" income is completely lying to you. If you stabilize campaigns, it can be much easier than it was in the beginning. Like you can go camping for a weekend.
It's a hard business.

It seems you're tending more towards SEO than PPC(which is fine). Earning $100/site/month or whatever is possible, and not terribly difficult. As far as you not wanting to do maintenance, that's understandable. For $100/month sub niches are fine and take little cash to start up and rank with. Just pump out a few articles, find a reliable way to promote them, and move on. Preferably into a similar niche you can leverage your new sites with. But if not, that's fine still. Just make sure to have someone doing link building that drops a few new links per site at least a few times a month. Competitors come.

Over time though, you won't want it to be passive. After some decent success, you love it and just want to do it more.

Ah the proverbial plan. Here's the plan I've found that works best with this business. Get an idea whether you come up with it on you own or copy someone else. Then start doing it, that's right no planning per say. Just start making pages, getting links, building campaigns, or whatever. See how it works, when it fails, tweak.......... That's it, don't sit around talking about your "plan", if you're planning you're not doing right?
