A client wants a CRM to manage his sales force. Any thoughts?

He's a micro-manager on a level that I didn't know existed.

Salesforce or Desk.com depending on what you're trying to do.

Salesforce is not cheap, so depends how much he's prepared to spend, there are cheaper/free ones out there but not as good so depends on him really.

summary: sugarCRM for the masses and has the best support

vtiger is my recommendation and what i use for my own business to manage clients. it is highly configurable and is open source.
