Alright everyone, I need your opinion, which is the best program to promote? For instance, would Linkshare, CJ.com, Ebay products, or porn? I have a little experience with LS and CJ and Ebay but no experience in porn, should i go down that road, if i do, how should i promote it, because there are about 1 billion website with porn on it. how can i make mine different from the 1 billion, or at unique enough to beat them?
All opinions are all welcome, and if i do porn it will be just hardcore, Asian, or something like that nothing crazy :)
 


Well, if you are just starting out I wouldn't be doing porn. You really think you are going to survive in the most competitive online industry with little experience?

Go mainstream and find an area with little competition. Sign-up for all the networks, cj.com, azoogleads, copeac, etc., and check-out all the offers. They all vary in payouts with different offers so there really isn't just one you should stick with.
 
so, im guessing that azgooleads, and copeac are almost the same as linkshare and cj.com?

I'm not quite sure what your question is but azoogleads and copeac are very similiar with their offers but they can vary on their payouts.

CJ is huge and the largest product selection to choose from... there are probably 5k+ items and services to promote. Linkshare is also pretty big and has some of the largest companies (Apple, Dell, Cingular) to promote.

Don't limit yourself to just one network.... sign-up for them all so you can find an offer that suits your needs and can compare payouts. Besides, they are all free to join.
 
Yeah thats true pocketrocket, well i was just curious because i see that people advertise this on this forums "azoogleads + copeac = money" now what does that mean? ok ill check it out, should i advertise the products that i pick from a website or direct linking?
 
I'd be careful asking too many "newbish" type of questions on the affiliate board, there's a newbie section for questions like this, and there's a decent chance you'll get flamed for asking here.

Copeac and azoogleads are affiliate networks. You'll see people advertising them because they get a second tier commission from all affiliates they recruit to the program, which isn't a bad thing, recruits still make just as much money, and it helps the ad networks promote their programs.

As far as the second question, IMO, most of the time building your own landing page works better than direct linking, but that's not always the case, and you'll make those type of decisions based on the product, how you plan to promote it, and many other factors.

I'm a pretty smart person. I've been studying this stuff for over 6 months now, and still don't make shit online, at least not anything significant. It's not easy, just keep reading forums like this and experimenting.

Exactly it takes a lot of time to learn this stuff the proper way but once you begin to get the hang of things and you keep your old campaigns, you'll begin to create yourself a database of useful information, like which keywords converted the most, which landing sites did better, why did they do better, how can you improve the old ones, which stories did better, all these little things will help you grow.

Not everything you do will make you money but by using the information in those failures you can get the information and say oh ok I was paying 30 cents per click for this keyword and spent $50 bucks with no conversions but I made one conversion with this other keyword and I was only paying .10 cents and only spend $10 bucks. Now I'm one step closer to making this campaign profitable.

Did you even bother reading one fucking thread on this forum? What do you expect that everyone's gonna just help you??
If you can't even make the choice of what program to promote then you really are looking at the wrong choice of money making.

Read anything on this forum and you will learn more than by asking something as stupid as you just did.
