current state of blog landers?

I took a 6 month break from AM and am now thinking about jumping back in. What is the current (legal) state of blog style landers? thanks.
 


Ummmm.... don't make it look like somebody is endorsing it, when they're not. Especially Oprah. Use your name instead.

good advice, pretty much figured that. what about just using a made-up tesitmonial...not saying that's what im gunna do:), just wondering what the legal implications are now a days

Technically, thats illegal. Will you get caught? Ehhhhhh... hard to say.
 
I don't think the legal issue has changed much. Use disclaimers, etc. I think the bigger change is that it seems like many networks have new compliance requirements that make running blog-style landers tougher. I remember reading one that seemed to outright ban them. That and lots of traffic sources are bitch slapping people over them.
 
You could always try the "Answer Site" approach that seems to be popping up lately. Fake version of Yahoo! Answers that looks like a legit site that has a fake question and the answer to all their prayers of course is the colon/acai diet.
