Dallas GOP Candidate says Government overthrow is "on the table"

The left wing media distorted it as usual, but you libs are so fucking dumb you'll believe anything.

In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising "is not the first option," but it is "on the table." That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks "inappropriate."

sounds like a liberal distortion to me bro

It's too bad a decent republican candidate couldn't have been fielded, Eddie Bernice Johnson is as corrupt as the day is long, between her getting caught doling out scholarship money to her grandchildren and her massively incompetent attempt to explain it all a better candidate would have had a shot. But nobody is going to have a chance in hell of winning over an almost 100% black constituency when they talk about over throwing the government when the president happens to be black, despite Broden being black himself.

Race trumps all other factors in Dallas politics.

So a black republican is running against a black democrat, in a country with a black president, in a black majority district, and you're telling me there's a racial element to this?

Just for laughs, what would that race factor be?

I'm just saying talk about overthrowing the government isn't going to fly in that district with the current administration, maybe if GWB was still in the white house that rhetoric might work (still probably not), Broden being black is the only reason they're going bother putting him on the ticket at all, cause EBJ, as bad as she is, is going to stomp him. Go hang around south Dallas for awhile and get back with me on what you might think the chances of a white republican would be in that district.

I'm guessing it's a Democrat district. A better question would be: What chance does a black Republican have going against a liberal white Democrat in that district?

At first, I thought you were going to cry about the white man holding your people down. Now I see you're crying about the black man holding your people down. It's still crying racism when it's not even applicable in the first place.

I don't go into flyover country unless I'm visiting Las Vegas or a National Park like the Zion or the Grand Canyon. So I'll have to pass on your suggestion of going into Dallas... as regrettable a decision that will be.

Lol, whatever man, I don't live in that district so it's not really that big a deal to me. As for a candidate I'd like to see not "held down", not stupid and not corrupt is enough for me, race is irrelevant. For context, our may our is a white, male, republican and he's a lying sack of shit.

This was the exact quote:

"The option is on the table. I don't think that we should remove anything from the table as it relates to our liberties and our freedoms," Broden said, without elaborating. "However, it is not the first option."

I know I'm going to start some shit by saying this from a handful of you here...but Lol @ people that think that NYC is the greatest place in the world to live. Especially those that make disparaging comments about everywhere else in the US that != NYC or LA. Dirty as hell, incredibly high cost of living, shitty weather (at least LA has that going for it). No thanks.

I never said NYC is the greatest place on earth, I just said I'd rather avoid traveling into flyover country unless I'm going to a National Park or visiting Las Vegas.

A little touchy, aren't you?

The corruption in the Dallas public anything realm is so blatant it's re-god-damn-diculous.

LOL. are you serious? Texas has one of, if not the strongest economy in the union. we account for a majority of the exports of the United States. If we left the union, the United States would be much weaker. I dont even see the recession here. It hit a majority of the United States quite a while ago while most parts here are still prospering.
