So they want to re-brand. I can understand. You have to keep up with the times and all. However, considering you have an amazing array of artists at your disposal, is this really the best you can come up with as a new logo?

DC has gone crazy...did you see the new 52? Superman in jeans and a t-shirt is just weird.

Heard about the new 52 but I have never been a Big DC fan to begin with.

In my view, DC has some great iconic characters, but like many of the Legends, where can you really go with them? Anytime there is a tweak, there is an uproar because the character is getting ruined. So in a way, I see what they are trying to do with 52 but I think it will ultimately fail.

I do think logo's can and should be updated from time to time, but DC's logo was fine, and this new one is garbage.

I actually like what they've done with the Batman movies in recent years...but some of the stuff they've done with the comics is just bizarre. Like this one - [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Robin-Vol-Reborn/dp/1401229875"]Amazon.com: Batman & Robin Vol. 1: Batman Reborn (9781401229870): Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, Philip Tan: Books[/ame] - Batman is gone, Robin becomes Batman, and Batman's son is the new Robin. Oh, and the bad guy skins pretty women's faces and eats them. I've never felt so dirty reading a comic book.

And yeah, the new logo is weird. It looks way too perky for them.

Yeah the latest Batman movies work, because the movies the came before them didn't. I mean the first 2 with Michael Keaton weren't bad but it spiraled downward after that. Christopher Nolan's take has brought Batman back to his roots. Don't know too much about DC but if you like Marvel, check out the Old Man Logan storyline.

new logo is shockingly bad.

the dc vertigo universe was good way back when.
