Dedicated IP 10 domains Vs. Shared with 1000's Domains

I have multiple simple HTML sites on shared Go Daddy hosting.

Many of these sites have a lot of back links from the same sources, but, the sites are not linked to each other. I have been told this should not negatively affect me in any way.

Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Is there a limit to the number of sites I should work from the same plan? The sites load quickly so there is not a load problem. Is there an SEO limit?

If I move some of the sites to a shared plan with dedicated IP. Therefore only 10 of my sites on that dedicated IP. If I am linking in with so few sites on the IP - would that be more likely to cause Google to notice my sites negatively?

Maybe I should just load up the Go Daddy account and not worry about it?

Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

Crap - no love on this question.

I will try to re-state - maybe my first post was too much rambling..

1. How many sites should I put on a single shared GoDaddy account. Load is not a concern (simple HTML) but as far as having similar backlinking to each site. Though the sites are not interlinked.

2. If I open another account somewhere else that has shared but 1 IP for 10 sites. If all 10 have similar backlinking, now we are talking the only 10 sites on this IP, would it be a much clearer footprint for Google to slap me for?

It really depends the average load on your shared hosting account. Personally - I wouldn't host anything with godaddy, but thats just me.

Your major concern is about interlinking back links on a shared hosting account. If it will negatively affect you is questionable still (I personally think it will.) , but it is in no way going to help you.

When you say similar backlinks, what exactly do you mean? you built backlinks in the same fashion to the different domains hosted on your godaddy account? That should be fine, just make sure you don't start building backlinks between each of your godaddy domains.

hope that helps.

Thanks. It does help.
The GoDaddy does fine because the sites are very simple HTML and I usually sell them whenever they start getting a lot of hits and start making money.

Thanks again.
