Dedicated Server for p202

I want to get a dedicated server set up for tracking202 so I have no speed issues even with tons of traffic. I want super reliability and don't mind paying for quality. Any recommendations? Also a place that would set it up for me would be great but not critical.

rackspace is def good but super expensive. From what i understand there lowest level server is $350/mo

I've been using Liquid Web - if you aren't verse on all the back end stuff I HIGHLY recommend.

Their support is the best I have ever dealt with. Not only are they timely and knowledgeable, you actually speak to a native English speaker.

Depends if you are going to need support or not. Rackspace is good, but definitely expensive (and they want contracts).

I agree, if you need all the hand holding that goes with managing a server . . . use HostGator or some other service that is tailored for support.

thanks for the recommendations guys, I now have a dedicated server and am trying to learn the ropes.

Turns out I needed this to host my site as well because I was running to much traffic on my shared one. I managed to create an account and get it set up but I am having plenty of trouble wih the DNS and things of that nature, I think I did things right but because I have to wait for it to propigate I can't be sure.

Any one have any good suggestions on reading materials for setting up a basis website on a dedicate server?

hire a someone to manage your server if you can afford it. if you don't know what you're doing, you're gonna have massive headaches
