dhtml fade in/out slide show

Is there some kind of dhtml fade in/out slide show generator out there or at least a really simple tutorial on how to make one? Examples of what I'm talking about are on the top of vmware dt com and newegg dt com.

Why don't you just look at the source for either of those two example sites to see how it's done? The vmware one is jQuery and the newegg one is Flash. Simply search Google for "jquery slideshow" or "jquery carousel" for lots and lots of examples.

This is one that I like to use... JQuery Cycle Plugin It doesn't come with a lot of documentation, but there are dozens of different examples on the site.
