The problem is it was made as a movie and not a documentary. Borat was not a "movie" thus making it more interesting with peoples reactions.

Borat is still the funniest movie I have ever seen, and I don't know if anything will ever top that. Unless of course, he made a sequel (perhaps somewhere where they are not too familiar with the character so the awkwardness is still genuine).
