So it looks like Copeac is killing all of it's diet offers. Anyone know what other networks has a good amount of diet offers and hopefully a lot of the same ones.

I am actually in the diet niche somewhat and using the offers from nb

^^see sig ;)

Just got into cpastorm and they look like they have a really good selection. cpastorm to the rescue. Still would like to hear what other networks are good in that niche though thanks.

Those offers (if you're referring to South Beach, etc.) are also in Linkshare. Check CJ for merchants such as eDiets.com, Diet.com, and Medifast.

I got an email from CPA Storm today showing that the majority of their diet offers were coming down at close of business today.

If you are a registered affiliate, you should have received that notification. If you just signed up today, you might not have gotten it...so just a heads up.

Oh yeah? Hmm that sucks copeac are taking all theirs down as well. What's going on with these things? Guess I'll try linkshare

RocketProfit have these still running:

- Duke Diet & Fitness Program
- Pink Diet Patch (UK)
- Sonoma Diet Weight Loss Program
- South Beach Diet Online
- Jillian Michaels Weight Loss Program
- PowerTea Weight Loss Sample

It could be the fact that the idiots who manage the South Beach and other programs left CJ for Linkshare. Linkshare has a term in its merchant agreement that a company's offers may not run in any other network, with the only exception being if the offer in another network is actually running through Linkshare in the end (like Netflix). Linkshare might have flexed it's contractual muscle in this case.

Besides that condition, Linkshare has higher network access fees and takes a larger percent of commission than CJ, so I'd see no reason to ever leave CJ as a merchant and move to Linkshare.

I do some work with diet/nutrition niches and will offer accompanying products (i.e. colon cleanse, vits, protein, etc), rather than sticking with the same over-hyped stuff like South Beach Diet and a few others. (note: I do use some offers which promote this product, buy VERY sparingly).

Just a suggestion.

It all depends on the audience. I find that the online sites such as South Beach Online, Ediets, and Diet.com appeal to a different audience than the diet pill / body building markets, and each converts differently in different markets.

AMWSO are the guys that manage a number of that family of diet offers (South Beach, Sonoma, etc) if you're interested in finding out about why things changed. They're basically a group of consultants who are contracted by advertisers to handle their affiliate marketing programs. They're good guys and pretty sensible in how they handle stuff.

Actually, if you're interested in running any of the offers they handle it can be worth your time to just talk to them individually (they work with publishers similarly to how an AM would) as they've got much more info on the performance of the actual offers for the advertisers they handle than you'll get from a network blurb.

They may be sensible normally, but that doesn't really explain why they left CJ before having their programs fully up at Linkshare, resulting in a week or so of their diet affiliate programs not appearing in Linkshare, yet deactivated in CJ. Good sensible planning, eh?

I posted the contact info concerning specific offers you were discussing so that you could quelch your thirst for knowledge and get first hand information about the topic that you were passing uninformed judgment on from the people involved. If you want to continue to toss spitballs instead of doing that, it's your prerogative (it is the national past time of the internet, after all). Your opinion on this matter is unlikely to affect mine. Cheers!

I wasn't passing any uninformed judgment - I'm someone who was affected by their asinine, botched switch of networks. I'm perfectly aware of the guys who manage the program. It didn't help that they initially declined my LinkShare application to the program that I promoted, either. I no longer promote them, as I've found a great substitute.

Good point. I am very involved in health and body building personally (both from self usage and business marketing), so I tend to know which products are mainstream vs what is "the buzz". South Beach I think has become, for some time now, way too saturated. Though, it does work well for particular groups of people, and can still rake in some good revenue!.

Anyhow, which of the three (in your opinion) tend to perform better?

Want to compare notes here.

Thnx!
