Checking in to see if it is worth the trouble.

I have 3 domains that are exact match (though hyphenated) .org. With the following stats:

Numbers reflect Exact Match. Search results is of course without quotes. The names below reflect difficulty of niche not exact, only the word mortgage has been changed. Yes I know it is easy to figure out if you give a shit.

1. apply-for-a-mortgage.org global 60,500 local 33,100 CPC $20.92 search results 95,100,000
2. mortgage-for-bad-credit.org gobal 74,000 local 49,500 CPC $3.14 comp 7,510,000
3. mortgage-for-people-with-bad-credit.org G 33,100 L 27,100 CPC $4.37 Comp 7,430,000

Any value in pursuing this? Any possibility of getting anywhere with these given the extra weight of exact match? When I bought them I was thinking that maybe a long tail exact match would have extra value. The adwords competition is very large with multiple competitors paying $50,000 + a month for the overall niche.

Or are these names worth less than the registration fee?.

You shouldn't judge competition based on number of pages or search results. I you should take a look more on backlinks competitions and at the minor extent, PR. The most important thing is backlinks. It'd be great if you can analyze top 50 for backlinks. If they all have less than 100 then it's perfect.

But still, hypens give many doubts for me.

Top 10 links list. On the search results if there was a long tail page then below are the links for the long tail page as well as the links to the sites main page.

3. 743 long tail and 23,955 main site

Quite competitive - what do you think - cut and run?

Hmmm that really scares me :) Based on my experience I'll give it a 100% go if the backlink competitions are all < 100. Because I can work to get 100 backlinks easily. If the competition has thousands of backlinks usually it took me months to get the 1st or 2nd page. I've never tried hundred of thousands backlinks competitor niche. I can't afford to compete with them :)

But the most important thing is, how much money do you want to invest to get backlinks. You have hundreds of thousands to beat there. If you have enough budget than go ahead.
