This sweet southern bride looks like she knows jack shit about Im. She used to manage a chicks jeans store and here she is managing some clients money lol. So there is that enough to make you feel better about competing with ad agencies.

pepperjam aff company. check the video out..

I don't get how you can come into a company with no experience in media buying (online or offline), and in 2 months (or perhaps from the start), you're their "senior media buyer". It seems like there's a lot of fresh blood in the company which signifies a lot of growth, but the quality of service to clients could definitely slip by placing inexperienced hires in "senior" positions.

Don't get me wrong - I have the utmost of respect for Kris and the success he's had in growing his business, but he should exercise some more care in posting some videos (especially along with titles). If I was a prospective client viewing their blog, videos like that would definitely turn me off, no matter how glowing recommendations of their services are.

I'd also have to say that the attempted viral video campaign (what would you do for a free year of energy drink) that PJ made in exchange for free energy drink was pathetic. Kris in the past has often touted this as some massive accomplishment, for how many views he drove to this video over a few day period. Here's the video - YouTube - What would you do for a one-year supply of Energy Drink? - 126,000 views, and a rating of 1 star. That's not a VIRAL campaign. That seems more like driving excess popup inventory to the video... a 1 star rated video doesn't get around virally.

Damn, I should get me one of those haircuts, maybe then I'll finally get to fly that space shuttle...

Anybodoy else notice that Kris hires mostly hot women to work at PepperJam? Straight up discrimination, but I don't mind.

OMG, WF is the last place I thought people would judge women superficially. I'm so shocked!

Did you guys ever think that maybe her university degree is in something relevant like business/marketing? or that her job before the denim store was closer to what she's doing now?

It's silly to jump to conclusions based on so little information.

hahah touche

having a degree means jack shit.
If she had managed four personal campaigns and lost over 40 k testing shit on adwords , that , i would consider a degree to work for my marketing company.
I would consider hiring Wf members. Seriously there are people here who have lost thousands of dollars testing shit on adwords. Whether it works or doesnt work doesnt matter. What matters is that you are dealing with people who are not afraid to try shit out. Heres what i get from that interview, i will be really safe and not loose any money for my clients. I will giggle my way to an intern and follow the blueprint that my friend laid out for me what mistakes not to make and get my benefits. Maybe i am missing something but if i owned a company thats the last video i would like to see on a company that is managing my money. If you are a company scared shitless about adwords, that video should help you out. If you are trying to drive viral video views, just buy domains with typein traffic and have them automatically drive traffic and views and watch as the video rises on youtube. Have an informerical style clip playwithing the first seconds with your url on it. Or cut deals with guys who own myspace websites. You should have the number one video within a month or within days. Companies like pepper jam will charge you shitloads of money for nothing. :)

no, none of us were thinking that, actually.

hahahahaha That's hilarious.
Let us know if you ever work your way up to running your own company, and how successful you become by hiring from WF.

I won't be holding my breath.

Lol, you would be suprised at how many people despite running some successful campaigns wouldnt mind working for a company :) . So maybe you can send me your resume for my no existent company and create some landing pages so that i can evaluate your work ::)

Huh...I take it you have to watch the "Meet The PepperJam Team" videos with the volume up...

You know what would be nice is if they would put "M" or "F" on the list next to the names so I don't click on a name that could be a guy. Or better yet a pic next to the name...

You guys really think the "Senior Affiliate Managers" are behind the marketing? How naive.

They're called managers for a reason.

If they could market like most of us can, you think they'd work under someone versus starting their own company and being their own boss?

Well.. there goes our sponsorship from them.. haha!

No wonder she's been avoiding me on AIM...

Seriously though. WTF is her job? She seems completely clueless. And they STILL put that on their blog.

And to whoever said that mr. pepperjam boy only hires hot girls... this girl is not attractive; that's not even really arguable.
