Just launched a direct linked campaing to test an offer and after a short while it became deactivated due to it being disaproved. The reason for diapproval is 'Inacurate display URL'

Now for my display URL i used the offer name domain. (which is not mine)

What is the usual method of doing this? Im a little confused as i cant put a name of a page as im linking straight to the offer, and i need to adhere to googles rules.

Cheers in advanced for any help with this.

You can't use another company's domain name as your display URL. You need to use a domain that belongs to you and try and do a 301 redirect (works better on yahoo than google) or iframe the offer.

Actually that depends. With googles new rules the display url has to match the landing url, even if you redirect. So if you had a redirect setup on your sever at www.yourserver.com/redirect/sexwithvegetables and it redirected to vegsex.com the url in google would have to match the vegsex.com website. Also with yahoo and msn you can use pretty much what ever you want as the display url regaurdless of where the user lands.

This also depends on the terms with the merchant.
