Direct Traffic from SEO Site to Money Site?

I built up a really good site on my niche. I don't want the google slap down for what ever reason. I'm just paranoid. I'm a little concerned about the "black hat strategies" being recommended.

So, I'm thinking of building of building another website which will be keyword rich and direct the traffic to my main site via hypertext links, banners, and related articles. This "front site" will be black-hat to the max.

Both sites are under 1 year old.

My questions:

1) Is this a legit strategy?

2) Is this less efficient as not all traffic will make it to my money site

3) Will this even protect my main site from getting de-indexed or just screwed in general.

Thanks in advance.

1) This is called a doorway page in the most traditional definition possible, and it's more than a decade old.

2) Yes you probably will lose some traffic in between

3) If you use a nofollow link from the doorway site you might lower the chances of your main site being screwed over

Thank You,

For now, I was just thinking of having a 250x250 graphic banner directed to my money site.

I'm assuming the more links to my money site from my "doorway page" site, the more chance of risk with google.

Would cloaked links using PHP direct be effective?

If you're really worried about your money site being penalized, you can filter the traffic through whichever of FB/LinkedIn/Tumblr is most relevant.

How do you filter through FB etc?

My sites are about 6 months old it's ok to start back linking? If so how many backlinks to start with?

What type of banklinks should I start with? Directory subs, profile links, blog comments, xrummer?

Sorry for the blast of questions fellas, but I've worked my ass off, I'm excited to see this work.

Thanks again, if you guys are going to Affiliate Summit West in Jan, ----cold drinks on me.
