Do all creditcard companies/banks not show recent transactions on your credit card?

Capitalone mastercard online and via the phone only shows transactions from your last statement.

Why is this shit?

How the fuck or more to the tune of why the fuck dont they show all your transactions?

I guess I know why cause the dirty jew motherfuckers want to fuck you in the ass as much as you can so you have no idea if something is up until you recieve your statement over a month later.

FUCK YOU CAPITALONE AND POSSIBLY/PROBABLY MASTERCARD.

Anyone Banks and/or CC companies that show your transaction in a reasonable amount of time?

I'm guessing probably AMEX hey? AM I in the ball park?

Are they the only ones that will show recent transactions so you know when a company charges you 7x to much without having to call and talk to a robot then talk to some guy with a barely understandable thick accent hold for 15 minutes and finally talk to someone who can tell you?

Or are they all like that even the highly praised critically acclaimed AMEX?

Jesus fuck.

I have the same card you're talking about and my charges usually show up within 48 hours. Same goes for my other cards.

How long have you had it? The first 30 days I had it my cpanel was really glitchy/confusing but a simple 15 minute phone call cleared everything up. It just takes your account some time to "activate".

You should go sign up for mint + stop being so damn negative. Those guys with thick accents have usually been much nicer and more helpful in the long run than any of the call reps in the deep south just waiting to get off so they can go watch American Idol.

Yeah, I have the same card as well and I see transactions within 48 hours. It should appear on the front page, at least the last few transactions do on my account.

Its been a bit past 48 hours. But the online portion has just been set up a few hours ago (I was mainly agited that the phone way to check trans. wasn't listing it either).

And yea sorry if I came off as a prick just everything went wrong today and this was the cherry on top (being charged 7x to much like an extra $600ish bucks and probably more for other charges which I am unable to check).

Alright, thanks.

I experienced similar with one of our Chase cards earlier this year. They have now updated their system, and charges show up immediately.

If its not there within 48 hours call them up.

protip: register an account on mint.com (downloads data from all of your personal finance accounts) and take an 15 minutes once a month to categorize your expenses. All of your shit will be graphed, pie charted, forecasted so you know exactly where your monies are going
