I ask because I'm considering to do this myself, but I'm interested to hear about how others go about this before I do this.
The idea is to have one Adwords test account where I find all my profitable keywords. I put the keywords in bigger but still relevant adgroups to find them there.
Then once I've found the money keywords I move the campaign over to my Adwords main account where I set up the same campaign. But this time I know what keywords are good so I will make more targeted and smaller adgroups for those...
I am thinking about doing it this way because I read that recreating a new campaign or adgroups with the same keywords can upset Adwords. And also so that I will be able to just mess around a bit and not worry too much about account history etc.
For example, I now have a very good keyword with the minimum bid too high because my initial bid was too low. I could then make these kind of mistakes on my test account and then when I got everything together just recreate it in my main account without making the same mistakes.
What do you think?
