I take all day erry day:

2 grams Vit C
70 microgram Vit D
1 multi vitamin
1 Beta-Glucan

From my experience, Vit C is not all it's supposed to be. The orginal research was with a dude in the 50's doing megadoses of 5 gram a day plus. The only tests I have seen with clear efficiacy has been with injecting Vit C and that seems a bit over the top. Vit D on the other hand is a gift from god. I think it's very important and doctors have told me this. If you're low in Vit D - living to the north with little daylight - you absolutely need Vit D in the winter. Beta Glucan is a very interesting immune booster with actual studies done on it where Beta-Glucan injected into patients going into surgery had 33% less infections following.

Am I missing something in my health stack?

I don't see why someone would have to take a supplement to get their day going. I understand taking prescribed medicines, but supplements appears to be a market created by huge corps to suck money out of people's budget and create un-needed/unjustified dependency.

Must be an American thing.

Supplements are very cheap in most cases, much cheaper than pharmaceutical pills.

For example, Beta-Glucan 1.3 has been found to have a strong immuno booster function: Beta-glucan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Vitamin D has been proven to be very important in preventing cancers and hearth disease: ‘Vit D deficiency can cause grave diseases’

The modern way of life is very unhealthy. We don't get the nutrients we really need or enough sunlight.

B-100 b vitamin complex. Great for focus and alertness, and reducing stress and anxiety. The one supplement that has noticeably improved the way I feel and my quality of life.

Nah, not if you take the right thing. That's like saying "fuck you" to the evolution of nutritional science. There are things you can take that can help maximize your health, especially for the long-term.

For me it's usually:

A baby aspirin
Cinnamon capsule
Green tea capsule
Fish oil
Multivitamin

I take about 500-1000mg vit c,
B complex
multivite
zinc

don't know which of these is doing the trick but since I started, I haven't been sick for years (which is remarkable after taking care of 4 VERY sick kids multiple times during this time)

I just started experimenting with probiotics but doesn't seem to be doing much
