Does anyone else think azoogle is cheap?

I want to know if I'm the only one with experiences with azoogle that make them appear to be extremely CHEAP. I do $X,XXX daily with them and they pull the dumbest shit on me all the time. Telling me my quality is so wonderful yet asking me to allow a deduction on the payouts at the same time, taking leads from my account occasionally, looking at my LP's and threatening to not pay me over the most obscure reasons (I.E. they don't like 1 or 2 words, or maybe even a picture on the LP), bitching about the smallest amounts of test traffic and their quality, etc etc.

I'm pretty sure I've officially decided to move on today. I'm sick of having to worry about covering my ass all the time. I know for a fact my main advertiser loves me, and I can probably go direct. What are they doing scoping out my LP's and actively trying to find reasons to hold my money? Its safe to say that I now scrub my referral data because of this.

Anyone else have experiences with azoogle like this, or is it just me?

/end rant

EDIT: shit, can someone change my title to "think" instead of "thing"

Just you. Who is your AM? If your doing that much, it should be Audrey since she handles the big accounts. What are you pushing? Ringtones?

You don't have to push all your traffic through azoogle. Look at your options and evaluate them. If there is another network with the offer, get on the phone with your AM (at competing network) or someone higher and make a deal. Tell azoogle you'll test them out for a while to see if they convert the same, as they've offered you a higher payout and good business sense means you have to test it.

Attempt to go direct to the advertiser. If it's worth it, fly out (if necessary) and meet with the advertiser and get a deal going... just make it happen.

If you've reached a point where the network no longer HELPS you then you need to move on.

i notice that they usually start with higher payouts, but they are less likely to give you an payout increase if you do decent volume.

I do business with quite a few other networks. I guess I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who is treated like this on a daily basis.

theres no reason why your affiliate network should even be looking at your landing page.
Exactly. The fact that I get IM's every few days asking me to change certain things on my landing pages scares me a lot. Thats why I'm scrubbing the referral data now. I don't want ANY companies knowing how I'm promoting my offers especially since I have a funny suspicion that azoogle would sell me out to another affiliate in an instant.

What type of campaign (or what advertiser specifically, if you're willing to divulge) are you running?

The one offer I'm still running through Azoogle is working well - Because of all of the advertiser's quality checks on the backend, my payout is the highest I can get in any network. My AM knows my traffic sources (Google content network and the likes), and so does the advertiser (whose contact used to be my old Azoogle AM, actually). That's why my private payout for an offer that's on almost every network is highest on Azoogle. Sometimes collaboration can be pretty beneficial. Other times, you should just leave, but it all depends on the circumstance.

yeah, I haven't had the best experiences with Azoogle. I'm still waiting on a paycheck from them. My AM promised me on numerous occasions I'd be on a quicker payout, but nothing ever changed. It's not a huge sum, so I just got tired of asking and moved my traffic elsewhere. I just hope they add interest to my paycheck when they actually send me it (yeah right).

Hide your referral information, that will result in a lot less "bitching" then - if you are doing that type of daily volume i'm surprised you haven't already done that.

If you don't feel comfortable with Azoogle just try to locate the same offer on a different network, and if not available ask around which network could get you that offer.

Nothing can beat a private deal.

If you're sending good traffic and the merchant likes it, skip the network, keep the extra 30% for yourself. (Sometimes its even more then that the network keeps).

How can hide the referral information???? I think I could use this :)

add a 'whatever.php' file with a meta refresh inside and use two if you are ultra paranoid.

Can you explain also what they want you to change. I mean I can understand an initial look. I can understand suggestions to give you a better ROI. However that does not add up. Hopefully they can come in and shed some sort of light on it.

I think in a way they where not being honest about something. Dropping a payout when you are giving great traffic is just mean.

Try out adex or let me know what offers do well for you. If it be on my network or not.

Easiest way is to just set up your tracking system (maybe prosper 202) on a separate domain and rerout all offer URL's through that.
