Domain name preference question

If the main domain name you wanted was only available in .net, but a plural version is available in .com, which would you choose?

For example:

BlackSinglesSpot.net

v.s.

BlackSinglesSpots.com

??

It's for PPC, not SEO, si i'm thinking the .net wins out since the singular makes more sense than plural

what do you guys normally do in this case?

I always go for the .com in most cases like this, but that's just me

EDIT: Unless I am going for a very SPECIFIC name, ie keywordkeyword.net would be okay in that situation as opposed to keywordkeywords.com. Since you're not looking for anything specific, just go with the .com. My 2 cents.

I sometimes try to add a short word to the front or end of the domain to get the .com like if blackhhole.com was taken I might try myblackhole.com as long as the extra word makes sense.
