I was checking domaintools yesterday, and noticed a bit of a lag that is normally never there. Today though, it's been 404'ed all day long. I didn't see any emails or information about a scheduled downtime, so you have to wonder, have they just forgot to pay their hosting bill or did an intern spill coffee on something he shouldn't have been nearby in the first place?

Would be nice to get someone from DomainTools.com to chime in with a response, but something tells me, they are aware of the situation and hard at work to get it back up and running.

We feel for you guys and know what you're going through, as we had been down for a little more than 24 hours on Thanksgiving day. Luckily that was also the lowest traffic day of the year. So don't worry DomainTools, just be glad that your downtime is happening on a weekend, and not a Monday.

It's really pissing me off. I use their bulk domain checker all the time.
